I am a genuine oatmeal cookie monster... I just counted, as well as January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of them yet? (? You'll locate all of my oatmeal cookie recipes directly there!) They are some of the most well-known recipes on my site because they taste very sweet and cozy, exactly like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined flour or sugar!

That means you'll start with whole wheat bread (or gluten free, if you prefer) and prompt oats (like those... or these for a gluten-free version!) . Instant oats are smaller and thinner than conventional rolled oats, also you may locate them in canisters right alongside those traditional oats at the grocery store.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But because I ? you and also want your cookies to turn out perfectly plump and soft, I am reminding you again... Measure your yogurt and bread properly, using this technique or even a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I own and enjoy. It only cost $20!) Too much of either side is likely to make your biscuits taste cakey or dry, instead of chewy. This is especially true of this oats--that they behave like little sponges and soak up lots of moisture out of your cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- ideal for baking! Love all of @amybakeshealthy's yummy & healthful banana recipes!

See these bananas? And all of those brown spots? When it comes to baking with bananas, brown = amazing! I ? extra speckly bananas because they have so much bright, bold flavor--and also additional sweetness! That is the minimum amount of brown that I recommend. More is even better!

The remaining portion of the cookie dough's sweetness comes in a different organic ingredient... Pure maple syrup (such as that!) . You would like the sort that comes straight from maple trees, which is generally sold in skinny glass jars or squat, round plastic jugs. Skip the pancake syrup and sugar!

The pancakes include even more sweetness! The freshly bought, extra plump, perfectly soft ones are ideal... But if you have older, slightly dried out carbohydrates (hmm... it seems silly to explain dried fruit as dried outside! ) , that is fine!

Only add them to a microwave-safe bowland put water on top till they're completely coated. Seal plastic wrap across the top, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you allow the peppers sit mixing together the cookie dough, then this small trick hydrates them so they're exceptionally juicy--and that makes a large difference in these cookies once they're baked!

The familiar cozy spices and plump raisins make these even more irresistible. They will keep for a minumum of one week if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator--if they last that long!

3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (measured like that )

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

Bake at 325°F for about 10-12 minutes. Cool to the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.

Notes: It's extremely important to measure both the wheat and oats correctly utilizing this method or even a kitchen scale. (? That is exactly the one I own and adore!) Too much of either could dry out of the cookies and leave them cakey instead of chewy.

Immediate oats are also known as quick-cooking or minute oats. They are available in large canisters, exactly like conservative oats. They are not those at the tiny flavored loaf of bread. To make your own, add the same number of traditional oats to a food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats will be approximately 1/4 into ? of their original size.

For the fermented flour, I suggest the following mix: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, 2 tablespoons (15g) tapioca flour, 2 tbsp (15g) brown rice bran, also 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (such as that one!) Will also do the job, if measured like this.

For the best results, use the ripest and spottiest bananas you'll be able to find!

In case your pancakes are older, drier, and not so plump or succulent... Add them into a microwave-safe bowland put water at the top till they're totally coated. Seal plastic wrap across the surface, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 second. Should you let the raisins sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this little hint hydrates them so they're really tender and juicy!
